Iliza Shlesinger

 Iliza Vie Schlesinger was born on February 22, 1983. She is an American actor and comedian. She was the 2008 winner on NBC's Last Comic Standing. She was later the host of Separation Anxiety and the syndicated dating show Excused.





 Shlesinger hosted Truth & Iliza (Freeform) in 2017 as her own late-night talk show. [5] As of 2022, she's released six comedy specials on Netflix. Netflix began the sketch comedy series The Iliza Shlesinger sketch Show in April 2020.



 Iliza Vie Schlesinger was a daughter of a Jewish family. She was raised in Dallas, Texas, where her family moved when she was just a little girl. She went to the private Greenhill School in Addison, Texas where she took classes in Spanish and played on the school's improvisation team.





 Shlesinger performed on ComedySportz Dallas. She also went to the University of Kansas her freshman year. She was also a participant in Semester at Sea. She transferred to Emerson College in Boston, Massachusetts where she earned a degree in film, refined her editing and writing skills and was a part of one of the campus' comedy sketch groups, Jimmy's Traveling All Stars.

 Shlesinger graduated from college and then moved to Los Angeles to pursue stand up comedy. She was one of the most well-known performers of the Whiteboy Comedy troupe of standup comedians from Los Angeles. It brought her to The Improv in Hollywood.
