Amy Carlson
Amy Lynn Carlson was born July 7, 1968. She is an American actor best known for her performances in Blue Bloods as Linda Reagan, Alex Taylor, and Josie Watts on the NBC soap opera Another World.
Early life
Carlson was raised in Glen Ellyn by Robert Eugene Carlson, her father being teacher. He was born in Elmhurst ([DuPage County Illinois to Chicago). She is of Swedish descent , and has roots in Smaland.
Career
1986-1992: college and early careers
She first came to Hollywood through her part as a background actor in the film Lucas featuring Charlie Sheen (Corey Haim) and Winona Ryder. She then followed her elder sister Betsy, who went to Knox College in Galesburg.
